The story we bring into prayer
In 1917, Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta encountered Our Lady at Fatima. The children received a call to conversion and prayer. Francisco and Jacinta's love for God took shape in prayer for sinners and a desire to remain close to Jesus in the tabernacle.
At their canonization in 2017, Pope Francis directed pilgrims toward the hope found in Christ and toward people who suffer. We can receive Fatima's invitation in that spirit: bring someone to God in prayer, and become a real source of hope through the way we live.
