WEBVTT

00:00:00.658 --> 00:00:02.736
Peter denied knowing Jesus beside a charcoal

00:00:02.783 --> 00:00:03.305
fire.

00:00:03.642 --> 00:00:04.513
Three times.

00:00:04.803 --> 00:00:06.312
Then he went out and wept.

00:00:08.286 --> 00:00:10.666
After the Resurrection, another charcoal fire

00:00:10.701 --> 00:00:12.059
is burning beside the sea.

00:00:12.314 --> 00:00:13.174
There is bread.

00:00:13.394 --> 00:00:14.416
There are fish.

00:00:14.671 --> 00:00:16.262
Jesus gives them breakfast.

00:00:16.482 --> 00:00:18.688
The man Peter denied is feeding him.

00:00:18.979 --> 00:00:21.672
After they eat, Jesus asks him three times:

00:00:21.928 --> 00:00:22.856
Do you love me?

00:00:23.077 --> 00:00:26.409
Peter answers: Lord, you know everything; you

00:00:26.455 --> 00:00:27.338
know that I love you.

00:00:27.628 --> 00:00:30.496
And Jesus gives him a task: Feed my sheep.

00:00:30.786 --> 00:00:32.539
Mercy does not erase the truth.

00:00:32.876 --> 00:00:34.420
It makes a return possible.

00:00:36.018 --> 00:00:38.259
If you have been away, begin honestly.

00:00:38.549 --> 00:00:40.418
Father, I want to come back.

00:00:40.673 --> 00:00:42.461
Please help me make a good confession.

00:00:42.717 --> 00:00:44.122
You can ask for an appointment.

00:00:44.377 --> 00:00:46.606
You can tell the priest you have forgotten how.

00:00:46.896 --> 00:00:49.427
Bring the truth, including the thing you are

00:00:49.473 --> 00:00:50.704
most afraid to say.

00:00:50.994 --> 00:00:53.409
Ask for the grace to turn away from sin.

00:00:53.746 --> 00:00:56.706
Jesus, give me sorrow for my sins, and courage

00:00:56.741 --> 00:00:57.426
to return.
